Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s EPIC tweet informing he’s coronavirus positive is the coolest dig at COVID-19

AC Milan forward’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic on 24th September tweeted informing that he has been tested positive for coronavirus. However it was his message in the tweet which grabbed attention.

Milan, Italy:

AC Milan’s forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been tested positive for COVID-19 virus. The 38 year old Swedish professional footballer took to twitter to inform but it was his bombastic tweet and sense of humour that depicted he is a tough man.

Milan confirmed on Thursday 24th September about the veteran striker’s return after he was found positive of the global pandemic causing disease in the second round of swab testing followed by the Europa League third-round qualifying tie with Bodo/Glimt at San Siro Stadium.

The Rossoneri club without wasting time immediately alerted to the purpose authorities and Ibrahimovic is now in home quarantine.

The Sweden great gave a naturally lively message while responding to the news, also giving a friendly caution to the virus.

He wrote on Twitter “I tested negative to Covid yesterday and positive today. No symptoms what so ever.”

“Covid had the courage to challenge me. Bad idea.” Zlatan added

Ibrahimovic got back to Milan in January after leaving MLS side LA Galaxy, and has scored 10 goals in 18 Serie A appearances as Stefano Pioli’s men finished sixth in the table. Ibrahimovic, 38, signed a one-year contract extension with Milan last month in August that will see him remain at the club for the 2020-21 campaign as well.

On Monday 21st September, Ibrahimovic scored twice as Milan started their new league campaign with a 2-0 triumph over Bologna.

Ibrahimovic’s Milan teammate Leo Duarte also tested positive for the coronavirus on Wednesday.
