Hyderabad, Telangana:
On Sunday’s evening, a speeding Ferrari car, ran over a 50 year old watchman while on its way towards Jubliee Hills from Madhapur.
The man was brutally hurt and reportedly died on the spot. The man died in the accident worked as a watchman for an under construction building in Hyderabad’s Madhapur.
As per the police, the driver of the luxurious car, identified as Naveen Kumar Goud. He was speeding the car and jumped over the footpath as he lost control over it due to which it collided with the pedestrian, killing one and injuring one.
Two people who were ran over by the car are identified as Paleti Yesu (50), who died on the spot and Shaik Jilani (26) who underwent multiple injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
The police reached the spot to recover the car and sent Yesu’s body to a government hospital. The Indian Express reported that, according to the records, the car TS 08FP was registered on the name of MEGHA ENGG & INFRA LTD assuring of the validity of the documents.
However, the police is still investigating on the valid license of the driver. FIR has been registered against the driver, Naveen kumar Goud and the vehicle has been seized. Madhapur’s Inspector, P. Ravindra Prasad has assured of investigation to be carried further.
