Satish Shah recovers from COVID-19, expresses gratitude towards hospital staff

Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro fame actor Satish Shah on Sunday 9th August informed that he was tested positive for coronavirus and was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai.

Mumbai, India:

Popular actor Satish Shah on Sunday 9th August informed that he was tested positive for coronavirus in mid July and was admitted to Lilavati Hospital on July 20 and is absolutely fine now.

“I am absolutely well now. As per protocol, I have to quarantine myself till 11th August. I had developed a fever which I tried controlling with medicines. But when I got tested, it turned out positive. I checked in to the hospital immediately. I was discharged on July 28,” he said.

The 69 year old actor said that he was propelled to thank the frontline workers for their selfless service.

“You should not panic about COVID-19. It only creates complications if you have some health issues. In my case, it was mainly age factors which made me cautious. But I am fine now by God’s grace and would want people to remain positive.” Shah added.

The veteran actor has been active in the industry for more than 40 years and is also a notable alumnus of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). Some of his famous projects included Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, and Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai. The actor was last seen in the second season of popular and critically acclaimed sitcom TV show Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai in 2017.
