In an interview with Extra TV alongside his wife Susan he was asked if there was a chance of a comeback, to which he replied: “Yeah, anything could happen. I’m really enjoying-”

Downey Jr, whose character died in Avengers Endgame the last movie of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Series, continued: “As far as I’m concerned, I hung up my guns and I’m good to let it go. And this appearance wouldn’t necessarily make what he said in the “SmartLess” podcast as a false statement, as Downey Jr only talked about upcoming commitments, not stuff he’s already filmed.

Downey first played Tony Stark in 2008’s Iron Man, the first film in the MCU. His apparent last major appearance as the character came in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. Robert’s character Iron Man is extremely popular among Avengers lovers and fans will surely miss Iron Man in Marvel Universe. Although, he will be seen in other projects. Till then let’s wait.
