Mumbai: India’s one of the most famous shows Kaun Banega Crorepati a Sony entertainment television show hosted by Bollywood Celebrity Amitabh Bachchan after its ceaseless successful 11 seasons is ready to start its 12th season. Online registrations for the show have already begun from May 9th.
Director Nitesh Tiwari has kept this season’s concept as “dreams.” Amidst the coronavirus lockdown in the country Big B assures the audience not to drop hopes and says that one shouldn’t stop dreaming in any situation. In the promo of the show he focused on the struggles the world is going through right now due to outbreak of the pandemic situation but brings this opportunity during the crisis for the people to gear up their dreams.
It nearly takes the KBC team around three months to finalise the contestant list and other procedures to put the show on air, according to a report by Indian Express. It would then probably take place after the conditions of coronavirus become stable in the country.
Bacchan has already asked three questions on Sony TV at 9 p.m. which is the first part of the registration. The ones selected in this round will be called for the screening and other procedure. In total there are four parts of the audition- registration, screening, online audition and personal interview.
This year after the registration is done the team will contact the selected participants and call them for screening after which an online audition will take place where general knowledge will be tested and a video of it will be asked to submit by the participants. At last the candidates will be video called and the final list will be generated.
