Defeating RR by 37 runs KKR jumped five stops to move onto the second position; However RR dropped two positions to third place losing its table topper title.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won their second match on the run in their ongoing IPL 2020 campaign as they won by 37 runs against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Dubai International Stadium on Wednesday 30th Stadium.
After Rajasthan won the toss inviting Kolkata to bat, Shubman Gill (47) and Eoin Morgan (34*) lead their team to a satisfactory 174/6 after 20 overs.
Jofra Archer bowled admirably for RR, finishing with a spell of 2/18 in four overs. While chasing Rajasthan’s batting order fell into pieces in the early overs itself as Steve Smith and Sanju Samson were dismissed in the power play.
Smith was soon followed by, Sanju Samson (8 off 9) and Jos Buttler (21 off 16) back to the hut. Kolkata lowered them to 67/6 in 11 overs and sealing the victory when they confined their opponents to 137/9 at the end of 20 overs. Shivam Mavi was given the ‘Man of the Match’ for bowling overs giving 20 runs and getting 2 wickets.
