Udine, Italy:

Serie A league point table’s dominant team Juventus FC will have to wait for claiming their ninth consecutive Serie A title after facing a shocking defeat from Udinese Calcio by 2-1 on Thursday 24th July.

Juventus FC is desperately looking for a victory to end the season with three games in hand. Juventus FC presented a slightly sombre performance but managed to hit a shot having a long range by defender Matthijs de Ligt just three minutes before the halftime but the goal wasn’t able to give the Juventus FC players relief as relegation-threatened Udinese fought back with two goals in the second half to seal the win.

Juve’s team manager Maurizio Sarri said that he believes Juventus are “physically and mentally tired”

“This season is difficult, all the teams are playing in conditions different to the usual ones and everyone is tired,” said Sarri whose side would have clinched the title with a win.

“It’s complicated to stay mentally and physically on the ball for 90 minutes. The games are strange and the momentum changes very easily. The mental fatigue is more than the physical fatigue.”

The Udinese FC team which was hosting the match resolutely defended before winning and wasn’t bothered to fight fearlessly with the table toppers despite being in the relegation threatened zone, surprised by the victory just like any other person said “I didn’t see it coming, but the best thing is that the guys did everything they could to make it happen,” he said. “It was hard to imagine with so few available and so much tiredness “Sarri deserves this title, which is virtually Juve’s, but I’m happy he didn’t celebrate it here in Udine.”
