“Jannat Ki Jannat” Story Of A 7 Year Old Kashmir Girl Features In Hyderabad School

This is a story of a girl named Jannat who is 7 year old. Her act illuminates the thoughts to move the world while only being 7 years old. She has been cleaning the Jammu and Kashmir’s Dal Lake in Srinagar for the last two years. Her story has been published in the textbook of a Hyderabad school.

The title of the story is “Jannat Ki Jannat,” and the name of the story is “Medha.” The story is published in Hindi textbook. The popularity of her story is catching the attention among the audiences.

Tariq Ahmad, Jannat’s father shared his feeling to one of this Friend, who lives in Hyderabad. He said, “I got a call from my friend in Hyderabad who said that my daughter’s name has been included in a school textbook. It was a proud moment for me.”

He added, “The video went viral on 2018, and the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi praised her good work on his twitter handle as well as in his radio show “Man Ki Baat.””

Jannat shared her story, “I am inspired by my father to clean the Lake. All recognition which I am getting is due to him.” She is studying in Linton Hall Public School, Srinagar.  She mostly spends her time on Dal Lake and she has been cleaning it from the two years.

Jannat’s father Tariq Ahmad confessed that he was also motivated by Foreign Nationals to clean the Lake.  He said that her daughter does not like pollution around the Lake and wanted to clean it.  He added, “I was rowing a boat along with a foreigner in the interiors of the lake when he refused to dump a cigarette bud into the lake and wrapped it in a piece of paper and kept it in his pocket. That incident changed me and made me realise that everybody has to contribute to clean the lake.”

Jannat doesn’t like pollution around her, and for that she is more concerned about the cleanliness of her surroundings. She also doesn’t like smoking and other harmful things.

Her story is a great example of getting what we want, age doesn’t matter. Her story motivates us to take even small initiatives to clean our surroundings for a better and healthy environment.
