Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur Tests COVID19 Positive

Shimla, Himachal Pradesh: Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Jairam Thakur tested positive for coronavirus on Monday.

Himachal’s state head’s official twitter handle shared the information. The tweet said that he has been in quarantine at his residence for the past week after he contracted the infection from a COVID-19 patient from one of his meetings.

CM Jairam Thakur said, “I have tested positive for coronavirus after developing some influenza-like symptoms associated with COVID-19. I have isolated in my official residence.”

Total COVID-19 cases in Himachal Pradesh stands at 17,408. India crossed 71 lakh in coronavirus tally with the report of 66,732 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
