Hathras Rape Victim Dies In Delhi Hospital, Protestors Demanding Strict Actions: PM Modi talked to UP CM Adityanath
The girl was raped by four men, was left with many injuries on her body. All the four men are arrested.

Another shameful act was reported from Uttar Pradesh. A gang rape was reported from Hathras in Uttar Pradesh. A 19 year old ‘Dalit’ girl was raped by four ‘Upper Caste’ men on Tuesday. She was taken to a local hospital but the doctors were unable to treat her. She was later admitted to Delhi’s Safdarjang hospital.
On 14 September the girl moved to check on an animal fodder in the field, and four men saw the girl and dragged her into the unknown and raped her. The girl was also strangulated with her cloth and was left behind with serious injuries on her internal parts and spine.
On Monday, 28 September her father requested to shift her to Aligarh’s JN Medical College for better treatment. On the other side Azad Samaj Party members drew the allegations on the administration that they delayed her treatment in referring to Delhi and the facilities in Aligarh hospital were insufficient.
The girl died due to her grievous injuries on 29 September which trigger mass protests in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras. The protestors are demanding immediate strict actions against the criminals and a fair amount of compensation for the girls family.
Head of the Agra division of Azad Samaj Party Harpal Singh said, “From delay in the arrest to dilly-dallying in shifting her to Delhi, the administration’s role is questionable. We demand proper compensation and that the case should be heard in a fast track court so that the monsters can be sent to the gallows as soon as possible.”
Head of neurosurgery department of Aligarh Medical College Mr. Fakhrul Hoda said that the girl has suffered a huge injury, in which the spinal cord of that girl has been damaged, along with because of fractures in 2nd and 3rd vertebrae in the neck region and doctors was unable to operate her. He said, “The medical facilities that were required for her were available at the hospital. She was in the ICU and was put on a ventilator when her oxygen saturation dropped.”
Hathras police have arrested four men – Sandip, Ramu, Lavkush and Ravi – under the sections of murder and gang rape.
Senior Superintendent of Police Vikrant Vir transferred the Station House Office of the Chandpa police station to Police lines to quickly act in the case.
The brother of the girl informed that the death body of his sister is now at village and he appeals the police to look forward on this case and the all four men should be hang to death as soon as possible. 14 lakh rupees of compensation will be given by the state government.
On the grim incident the General Secretary of Congress party Priyanka Gandhi Vadra twitted and reminded the duties of Chief Minister Yogi Aditiyanath.
She wrote, “Chief Minister is responsible for the safety of women in the state…The killers should get the severest possible punishment.”
Other parties are also ready to provide possible support to her family and appeal to put this case in fast track court.
Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav said “There is no hope left from this insensitive government.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also spoke to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath and sought “tough action against the perpetrators.”
