Hathras Gangrape: Rahul Gandhi Arrested On His Way To Hathras By UP Police, Lathicharged & Shoved To Ground

Hathras, Uttar Pradesh: On his way to Hathras, Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra arrested by Uttar Pradesh Police on Greater Noida expressway.

Both the Congress leaders were marching to meet the family of Hathras gang-rape victim. Both were detained for defying a ban on large gatherings.

In a video Rahul Gandhi was thrown to ground an officer of Uttar Pradesh Police.

Rahul Gandhi said that they were also ‘Lathicharged.’

UP Hathras gang-rape victim died on 29-September after suffering many injuries. She was gang raped by four men in Hathras on 14-September.

She was admitted to the local hospital and due to dilly dallying of the local hospital her condition deteriorated, later she was taken to Delhi hospital for better treatment. Unfortunately, she couldn’t survive.

She was a young ‘Dalit’ girl and was raped by four ‘Upper Caste’ men.
