Goa Became The 1st “Zero Coronavirus State” In India

Goa: Goa reports no active coronavirus cases in the state. Although 7 cases were reported earlier but all have been stated to have recovered from the infection and have been discharged. Fighting the virus courageously Goa becomes the first Indian state to be absolutely free from corona.

The last cases were detected in the state was on 3rd April and all have been tested negative after treatment.

Health Minister Vishwajit Rane announced that he felt proud that all the patients reported positive in Goa have now recovered and the active number of cases stand zero, he further added about keeping the importance of lockdown in the country and maintaining social distance in mind.

Goa’s Chief Minister Promod Sawant, Chief Secretary Parimal Rai and Health Secretary Neela Mohanan all paid their respect to the medical and police personnel who all fought at the front line.

This has made Goa the first green zone (Zero Coronavirus Zone) state of the country.

    Goa with the population of just 15 lakhs is not a challenge and standard to get relaxed… we are 130 crores… Ballia a district of UP has 32 lacs population.. I think 2 Goa is yet safe from these pandemic..
