Former Bond Girl Diana Rigg Died At The Age Of 82

Here is the bad news for the fans of James Bond series, a big loss for American industry that the popular actress of bond series Diana Rigg died on Thursday at the age of 82. She was diagnosed with cancer last 6 months. This information was confirmed by her agent Simon Beresford and said that she died “peacefully” early on Thursday morning at her home with her family.

She stared her career in 1960s TV show “The Avengers” and recently we have seen her in Games of Thrones.

Rachael Striling gave the statement that “My Beloved Ma died peacefully in her sleep early this morning, at home, surrounded by family.”

“She died of cancer diagnosed in March, and spent her last months joyfully reflecting on her extraordinary life, full of love, laughter and a deep pride in her profession. I will miss her beyond words.”

She was an impeccable actor as she won Emmy, Tony and Bafta awards during her long career on both side of Atlantic.

A very important part of her life that, Diana Rigg enjoyed her career in theatre, performing with Royal Shakespeare Company. Later on, she returned in the performance of productions including Tom Sstoppard’s  plays jumper night and day.

She played well and for that she was nominated in 1970 and in 1992. In added she won the award in the titular role of Medea, which she played in the west End and Broadway.

Well most of the fans known her as Emma Peel, which she played in The Avengers, having appeared in 51 episodes of the hit spy series between 1965 to 1968.

Her talent is unforgettable, May her soul rest in peace.
