Evergreen Actor Rishi Kapoor passes away at 67 aftera long battle with cancer
He was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and was treated in New York
Veteran Bollywood’s Classic Actor Rishi Kapoor passed away after his long battle against cancer. Brother Randhir Kapoor, confirms the death of the actor to PTI news agency.
Yesterday Randhir Kapoor confirmed to PTI about taking Rishi Kapoor to the hospital as he was suffering from cancer and had breathing problem. The evergreen actor was admitted to HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai by his family, where he breathed his last today morning. Death of the icon has shocked the film industry and the country.
BIG B tweeted confirming the news, “Rishi Kapoor…GONE .. Just passed away …I am destroyed.”
The actor had returned to India in September, 2019 after his cancer treatment in US for about a year.
The actor’s death is a loss to the entire film industry, his family, friends and the fans in the nation. He will always be remembered for his commendable work. Our deep condolences to his family and friends.
