Chinese Brands witness ascending sales in Amazon & Flipkart

Chinese electronic items were sold by a double rate in the year 2020 compared to 2019.

Amidst the tension and disputes going on with China, contradicting the fears of public sentiment turning against China because of border hostilities Chinese smartphones and consumer electronics brands are witnessing rise in sales by even double digits when compared to a year earlier in sales and purchases on Amazon and Flipkart, with some products getting finished.

Also the Chinese companies confirmed their rise in sales which included OnePlus India which stated the Amazon confirmed the recently launched OnePlus Nord smartphone as the biggest-selling handset during the two-day Prime Day sale that between August 6-7. The Flipkart Independence Day sale was on August 6-10. Amazon Freedom sale runs August 8-11.
Also a Realme India spokesperson said smartphone sales grew during the two sales. And is expected to do more than Rs 400 crore of business by gross merchandise value (GMV). The company said that the brand’s wired earphone was the best seller during the Amazon sale.

Xiaomi’s four smartphone models were “sold out within seconds/minutes!” in hundreds and thousands numbers, as tweeted by Manu Kumar Jain, MD India unit also saying that stocks of some models finished in less than 15 seconds of the sales started.
India country manager of TCL Mike Chen said the new premium 4K and QLED television models ran off in half-day only in Flipkart.

CEO of a popular Chinese electronics brand said popularity of the products is because Indian consumers demand the latest technology at the right price. A senior industry executive also added, “There has been no impact on sales of the Chinese brands.” The Industry executives said that their business has been normal so far with stocks finishing both in online and offline.
