Recently, billionaire Bill Gates showed up his ‘Chef’ side by baking special birthday cake for his friend Warren Buffet on his 90th birthday and tweeted “Happy 90th birthday, Warren!” with a special note on his blog.
He posted the baking video on 30th August wearing apron and made Oreo cake putting layer on it of Warren’s favourite cookies and also his picture. In his blog which is called ‘Gates Notes’ he gave tribute to his friend by sharing their good times together and written “Warren Buffett turns 90yrs old today. It’s hard to believe that my close is entering his tenth decade of a 30yr old, the mischievous laugh of a 10yr old, and the diet of a 6yr old.”
He also wrote “I couldn’t possibly list all the interests Warren and I share. But one thing we discovered the first time we met is that we both love math and numbers.”
Sharing 27 years of friendship together Warren and Bill have also partnered on philanthropic and political ventures and along with these they have also mentored and guided each other through thick and thin. Gates sometimes sees his friend as a father figure. One of the most important lessons he learned is what friendship is all about. He says “To this very day, every time I go to Omaha, Warren still drives out to the airport to pick me up. It’s a small gesture, but it means the world to me.”
