Amitabh Bachchan’s Movie Gulabo Sitabo Releasing On OTT
“Amitabh Bachchan overwhelmed to be a part of the movie,” he tweeted.
Mumbai: Due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus the cinematic world is unable to release the movies in theatres. This has made them release the films on OTT (Over- The- Top) platforms which is a term used for release of movies or TV shows where the users do not require to subscribe to an additional cable.
Gulabo Sitabo Ayushman’s most awaited movie which had to release on April 17 years is now releasing on OTT. The movie will be releasing over Amazon Prime on June 12. Amitabh Bachchan tweeted,
“T 3531 -Joined Film Ind., in 1969 .. in 2020 .. its 51 years !! .. seen many changes and challenges .. NOW another CHALLENGE .. DIGITAL RELEASE of my film GULABO SITABO !! June 12 Amazon Prime 200+ country’s .. THAT IS AMAZING ! Honoured to be a part of yet another change (sic).” on the release of the movie on internet platform.
Irfan’s Angrezi Medium was previously released on Disney+Hotstar platform due to the lockdown in the country. Big B has posted Gulabo Sitabo’s poster over his twitter page and announced its digital release.
