Amitabh Bachchan tests negative for coronavirus: Tweets “Back Home”

Mumbai, Maharashtra: Bollywood’s big star Amitabh Bahchan has been tested negative for coronavirus and was discharged from Nanavati hospital, Mumbai.

Bollywood’s Big-B was tested positive for coronavirus on July-11 with his son Abhishek Bachchan and a day later his granddaughter and daughter in law Aishwarya and Aaradhya Bachchan were also tested positive for coronavirus.

The 77 year old Big-B was treated for a period of 23-days. He is now in solitary quarantine at his home – Jalsa. He tweeted, “I have tested COVID-19 negative, have been discharged. I am back home in solitary quarantine. Grace of the almighty, blessings of Ma, Babuji, prayers and duas of near and dear and friends, fans EF… and the excellent care and nursing at Nanavati made it possible for me to see this day.”

Few minutes later his son Abhishek Bachchan also tweeted, “I, unfortunately, due to some comorbidities remain COVID-19 positive and remain in hospital. Again, thank you all for your continued wishes and prayers for my family. Very humbled and indebted. I’ll beat this and come back healthier! Promise.”
