Akshay Kumar resumes shooting amid COVID-19 lockdown: BJP chief Manoj Tiwari broke the lockdown norms

Mumbai/New Delhi: The entire cinematic industry had to cease their shoot schedules due to outbreak of coronavirus in the country which took to announcing of lockdown nationwide. Now Bollywood celebrity Akshay Kumar has become the first actor to resume shoot outdoors amidst the lockdown. An ad-campaign was shot for the Government by Akshay and filmmaker R. Balki which reportedly took place at Kamalistan Studio, Mumbai.

The Padman director told IANS, “Akshay and I have shot this ad-campaign for the Government of India to make people aware of their responsibilities post lockdown. Things might seem difficult but through this ad, we now know what all precautions need to be taken to shoot in the post-lockdown era. Our producer Anil Naidu made everything seem effortless and we all maintained social distancing. The shoot was performed smoothly following hygiene protocols, ensuring minimum crew with maximum efficiency and safety.” The shoot was undergone keeping in mind all the social-distancing norms, sanitization on the set, wearing of masks and other regulations were performed.

On the other side BJP’s Delhi Member of Parliament and chief in charge, Manoj Tiwari was captured breaking social-distancing norms and went to play cricket. The BJP chief was not even seen wearing mask at the SheikhPura Unique cricket stadium at Sonipat, Haryana. He was seen standing near a small crowd and singing songs to entertain them. He even tweeted a video of his playing at the stadium.
